How to Understand Seizures in Dogs
Sunday, February 12th, 2012Friends Bringing Friends Together Again
Tuesday, January 31st, 2012
My best friend and I both share an apartment together. She is from a farm and I from the city. Through our differences we have become very good friends. Anyway, she cannot go and visit her family often because her schedule will not allow it. She just has too much on her plate to take any time off and actually visit her home. One day when we were talking about our homes she mentioned she used to have a little teacup pig named Rex. She said that she and Rex were the best of friends growing up. She said while most people had cats and dogs she had her little teacup pig named Rex by her side. In an effort to bring home to her I found some teacup pigs for sale on a site online. Immediately I contacted the owner and bought my friend a teacup pig. When the pig arrived my friend just cried like a child at the gesture I had just done for her.
Chicken Coop Plans and Chicken Houses

Decide on a plan and put it down in a drawing. Having deciding on the plan to use for your chicken coop, shop around for affordable chicken supplies for building the chicken coop. You can use used materials in your construction to lower your costs.
Fighter Fish: Preventing Fin Rot to Keep Your Friend Happy and Beautiful
Friday, January 13th, 2012If you have recently bought a fighter fish for your child, chances are that the best part about it is the colorful fins. This is a great thing to have around, and your child probably loves watching the little critter expand in displays of colorful beauty. However, you need to make sure that you take certain precautions to keep those fins from rotting or becoming damaged. Here we will talk about some of the most common reasons that your fish can develop fin problems, as well as what you can do about it.
The first thing that may have gone wrong is that you have the wrong type of decorations in your Fish Bowl Aquarium. Did you succumb to the urge to buy colorful plastic plants for your little friend? This can be a problem because these plants often times have rough edges. Your fish just wants to curl up inside the leaves, but if they are made of rough plastic, then they are going to damage the fins. This is why you should always bring a pair of panty hose to the pet store. If the plastic plants do not tear the panty hose, then they are okay for your Fighter Fish.
However, your fish is going to prefer real plants to anything else. They want to be able to feel the real plant against their scales and curl up inside the comfort of the leaves. This is why you should spend the extra money to buy a real plant so that your fish can have healthy fins for many months or years.
Another thing that may have happened is that you let the water get too dirty. Your Fighter Fish is not meant to be in dirty or stagnant water. You need to make sure that you keep the water filtered and clean without too much debris. If the fish does not eat all of its food, then you have to remove the excess. These are important things to do so that your little friend can have healthy fins.
You also need to use a cup when you are transporting your friend from the Fish Bowl Aquarium to any other location. If you are using a net, it is going to be very likely to tear the fins of the Fighter Fish. Always make sure that you use a cup and transport him as efficiently as possible to avoid stressing him out.
There are many other reasons that your fish may have torn fins. If he has a parasite or other physical issue, he will need fish medications. It is rather common for Fighter Fish to get parasites, so you have to be sure to have antifungal and antibiotic treatments at your disposal to give to the fish when necessary. These things will help you figure out why your fish’s fins are not looking beautiful, but you have to take action to solve the problems.
I Love Scooter the Lab
Friday, December 30th, 2011
I lovedogs. I am very excited because tonight I am going to my friend’s house! I am excited to see my friend of course, but I am more excited to hang out with her Chocolate Lab named Scooter! Scooter is an amazing dog and if I were to get a dog I would want one just like him. He is a massive fella, standing about twenty five inches at the shoulders and if I had to guess I would say he weighs more than one hundred pounds.
Every time I come over, Scooter gets very excited because I bring him treats! He likes to jump up on me and put his huge front legs on my shoulders and lick my face, almost knocking me over in the process. After he calms down, he jumps on the couch and lays in my lap like an over sized lap dog and this is so very, very cute. Scooter, I can’t wait to see ya!

Now I am where I am because I came or began to be there in the place I am. My dog has a nice bed to sleep on and it makes me happy to see it comfortable in its old age. He is a fourteen year old pit bull and has lived outside for the first 11 years of his life either in a pen or on a chain because he is not allowed to run free because people think he is a dangerous animal just because he is a pit bull but this is not true, he is the sweetest and most child friendly animal I have ever owned. I got him originally when he was a little puppy, and he is very gentle and loving, although he can be a little dog aggressive yet he loves cats and he is also very loyal and protective in relation to me and my son.

The Proper Approach to Training a Chihuahua
Friday, July 22nd, 2011Chihuahua Training is a difficult and time consuming task. A lot of variables are involved. The time that you can spend training your dog has a huge effect on how well it learns new things. Your dog’s personality, as well as your personality and your attitude towards training can have varied effects as well. To maximize your training, the proper approach in dealing with your dog is very important. Chihuahuas are intelligent dogs, but that does not mean they get what you try to teach them in an instant. Constant repetition is required. Training sessions should be regular. A few hours a day, every day is more effective than training for a whole day, once a month. And do not forget to reward your Chihuahua after a job well done. Dogs will remember what they did that caused you to give them a reward, and should speed up the learning process.
Helping to Pick a Heartworm Medicine
Wednesday, June 8th, 2011I often get asked what the best heartworm medicine to use is for Dogs, and the answer is that it depends. If you want to also treat for fleas then Revolution for Dogs is the best option. This is a cheap combination medication that is entirely effective.
But if it is just to stop heartworms being an issue then there are even cheaper options. Most notably there are a few generics such as Nuheart and Valuheart that are very good at ensuring heartworms are never an issue. The prices are extremely low so they are certainly a very good option indeed for anyone on a tight budget.
But if you want to give a heartwormer in the easiest possible way then Heartgard Plus is a very good option. They are chewables so are seen by the Dogs as just tasty treats. It simply take any effort out of medicating and makes life that little bit easier.
Trying Something New
Sunday, May 22nd, 2011Okay, I really need to find out as much as possible about cats. Up until recently, I’ve only ever had dogs. In the last two years, I haven’t had any pets at all since my old buddy Bob passed away. He was a German Shepard mix that I’d had for 14 years, which is a very long time for a dog his size. I wasn’t quite ready to start looking for a new dog yet, but knew I would eventually. I wasn’t counting on getting Betsy the cat. Grandma had to move to an assisted living apartment not long ago, and had only gotten Betsy the year before. None of my siblings were able to take her since they or their kids are allergic to cats. I like them, but have never tried to have them since like I said I always had dogs. Anyway, I’m on line all the time now, reading about everything I can find on cats to know how to be a good pet parent for Betsy. She sits on my lap and stares at the screen like she’s trying to read it, too. I like her a lot! She’s a real character.
Helping My Pet with Sever Dog Skin Problems
Thursday, April 21st, 2011Having a dog needs proper guidance at all times. Dogs are also like humans. They need care, love and understanding. I have a dog which I bought recently at the pet store. He was very gorgeous and adorable. He is also very cute and I love hugging him all the time. I was very sad since he was attacked by some dog skin problems. It was really horrible and I felt so sad about it. I brought him to the nearest doctor for a check-up. The prescription given for him was so expensive but I bought all of them. After drinking his medication for 7 days, his skin problems were starting to fade away. After a while, his hair was growing back to its normal growth. He stopped scratching his skin and everything went very well. I am very happy with the results and that I would highly recommend having your dog a check-up before giving any medications.

The Best Led Aquarium Lights
Saturday, February 19th, 2011The Light Emitting Diode or LED is the latest innovation that may prove to be the answer to the energy over-consumption problems of the world. LED Bulbs are definitely the most efficient light bulbs today as they use 90% less energy than incandescent bulbs, which means lower electric bills. They also last more than ten times longer than that of the regular incandescent bulb, which makes it even more ideal cost-wise. LED lights have absolutely no mercury or toxic content, making it a lot safer for the environment. They also produce significantly less heat which makes led aquarium lights great for those with fish tanks at home, as well as reducing probability of fire incidents. Today, more and more people prefer to buy LED bulbs for practical use even if the prices are still relatively higher than traditional incandescent or fluorescent lights, because the savings that it produces, as well as the various safety and environmental benefits it gives, make it very much worth it.
